Physical and chemical properties: Solid caustic soda is a white, slightly fibriform crystal. The pure product is fairly transparent. Liquid caustic soda is a colorless, transparent, strongly corrosive liquid that can burn skin and eyes. It can react with tin, zinc, and aluminum, therefore form sodium stannate, sodium zincate and sodium aluminate, and releasing hydrogen gas at the same time.

Main application: It is a basic chemical raw material, widely used for rayon with mucilage method, synthetic fiber, inter-mediate of dyestuff, regeneration of rubber, bleaching of textiles, paper -making, soap-making, refinery of petroleum and grease, aluminum oxide extracting, pharmaceutical and plastic industry etc.

Packing: liquid caustic soda is transported by truck, the solid caustic soda shall be packed in black iron drum with net weight 200kg. The flake caustic soda shall be packed in polypropylene woven bag lined with plastic film with net weight 25kg. Granular caustic soda shall be packed in thin polyethylene film bag with net weight 25±0.2kg. Sacked granular caustic soda shall be stacked to a bigger package with 40 bags/pile by stacker and baler and stored in a dry warehouse.
